Letting go of past hurts and regrets is the path to freedom. Although the lessons of your past can help you make wiser decisions in the future, the negative emotions that are associated with them are what you should be working on clearing. Recognizing Resistance – Part 1 of 3 – Resistance by Default
Resistance by Default
Negativity – I refer to Resistance by Default as the seemingly human default pattern of negative thoughts and self-talk. Those of us who unconsciously and consciously think and say negative things to ourselves and others. For example, “I’ll never be able to do that.” “Murphy’s Law says, ‘whatever can go wrong, will go wrong.” Those of us who wear our emotions on our sleeves by having loud emotional outbursts, creating huge resistance to happiness and bliss, fall into this first sub-category.
Denial – Is often a default pattern, due to our past and upbringing, that subconsciously is put in place to ultimately protect us. Some of us deny by pulling off a really good outward appearance that all is well while suppressing our negativity and resistance leaving it to fester until it manifests as a physical disease or that threatens to suddenly erupt into a severe emotional explosion or implosion, like depression or physical self-sabotage. I get a visual of one stuffing a suitcase so full tat the lid has to be sat on to close. It’s just a matter of time until the clasp gives way or it gets unexpectedly opened, then ‘look out’! Negativity and resistance ca only be stuffed in there for so long before there is no more room.
Living in the Past – We often default to the past when our situation is less than desirable. Our thoughts continuously go back to another time and we fantasize of days gone by, wishing we could leave the Now, never to return. The past is important for our learning and development, so we can learn from our past mistakes and successes in order to make better decisions and choices now. It’s when we dwell on or regret the past that lowers our vibration and creates resistance, because are resisting the Now.
All of this ‘resistance’ is energy that is trapped in our body’s energy field and surfaces as destructive patterns. Anytime we focus our attention on lack, irritation, anger, sadness, etc., we are resisting the flow of the Universe and our peace and happiness. The good Lord put the Law of Attraction in place for our benefit, not for our frustration, we have just become experts at using it to attract negative things and situations. Now is the time to stop those patterns in their tracks!
Being aware of the different ways resistance shows up in our lives can help when we are ready to do something about it and fortunately, we have cutting edge techniques to release all of our blocks to success!
Why Loving Yourself Is The Key To Change

Raising Your Vibration Is The Key To Manifesting
