A Personal Story on How Energy Therapies Have Changed My Life!

A few weeks ago, our family took a trip back to our hometown to visit other family members.  Driving back to our hometown generally takes about 6 hours from where we now live.  The plan was to leave our house at 4PM so that we could get to our destination at about 10PM.  I spent the day getting clothes washed and bags packed and our dog ready to go to the kennel for the week-end.

My husband came home from work at 4PM that day and reported that as he was walking up to our house, he noticed that my car had a flat tire.  It so happened that we were planning on using my car for the trip because his is a sports car and not big enough for our family and all of our bags.  So, I took my car up the road to fill it with gas and put air in the tire.  I parked my car next to the air pump and another car pulled up right behind me.  A young fellow got out and I told him that I just needed to run in and get change for the machine.  When I came out, he was just finishing filling up my tire for me.  Wow, what a nice gesture!  And, he showed me where there was a nail in my tire.  I thanked him of course and as I drove back home, I felt deep gratitude that he had helped me out and pointed out the nail in the tire.  I am not someone who normally notices those kinds of things – especially when it comes to automobiles.

When I arrived home, I told my husband that there was a nail in the tire and suggested we take the car to a garage to have it fixed.  Here we were, 5PM on a Friday night of a long week-end and the chances of finding a garage that was still open were pretty slim.  Thankfully, we did find a garage but due to the fact that it was a long week-end and after 5PM (by this time) on a Friday night, they had a huge backlog of customers.  So, it was 8PM before they had the tire patched and my car ready to go on our trip.  Being that it was 8PM, it meant that we would not get to our destination until 2 o’clock in the morning.

What was amazing about all this was my reaction to everything that occurred that day.  And, I didn’t have to do any Tapping or ZPoint through all this – I was already calm and peaceful.  In the past (before learning and using energy therapies like EFT Tapping and the ZPoint Process), something like this would have put me in a really bad mood.  I would have been angry and frustrated and unable to feel anything other than negative emotions.  But now, after many years of personal development and working with the techniques that Liz and I teach, all I could feel was gratitude and peace.  I was grateful that the young man had pointed out the nail in my tire.  Had it not been for him, we probably would not have gone to a garage before getting on the highway and we would have likely had a much worse problem on our hands – getting stranded on the highway with a blown out tire or worse!  And, I was grateful that we were able to find a garage that could take us and patch the tire for us for just $18!  And, because I was calm about the whole matter, my husband was too.  Ever notice how like attracts like?  The same is true of negative energies.  Had I been upset over the whole delay in our plans, I know that my husband would have been too.  Instead, he was as calm as I was.

So, the lesson is that sometimes you don’t notice changes in your life right away when working with energy clearing techniques but then something similar to what happened to me happens and you realize that your whole perspective on life has changed in a big way.

  2. I think it shows as a test for you and your personal growth. you no longer react or behave in the way you used to. the energy is vibrating at a higher level and can absorb these lower energies easily. Very inspiring.
